fashion TREND ALERT: Leather for Him
It’s one of my favorite seasons: fall! I absolutely love it! You can finally layer once again and not sweat profusely. Layering is essential during this season, but it’s also very on-trend. What better way to stay warm and look good this season than incorporating some leather into your wardrobe. Unsure of why or how? Don’t fret, keep on reading and we will fill you in on all of the deets.
Grab your friends, get together and create a badass motorcycle gang, because leather is all the rage this season. From complete leather ensembles to a single leather statement piece, leather was seen throughout a variety of collections at Fashion Week. Balmain featured many leather ensembles down the runway from edgy moto jackets to skinny leather pants, making every guy look as tough as the greasers back in the 1950’s.

3 Ways to Leather this Season

As we saw on the runway, there were many designers that used leather-on-leather or some variation of it. I incorporated three looks using a leather jacket, helping show the versatility of this style.
If there is anything you absolutely need this season, it’s a great leather jacket. These jackets range in cost. Retail stores like Forever 21 and H&M have affordable pieces, but if you want to go a bit to the high end check out ASOS or Macy’s. Remember that leather is a classic. This piece won’t go out of style, so spending $200 for something that will last for more than 3 or 4 years is a worthwhile investment.
Now, let’s dive into the three looks I have created using the timeless trend of a leather jacket.
This look is perfect for the weekend. Wear this to brunch or out to a casual bar. I’ve put together a great pair of Chelsea boots, denim, a white v-neck, a hoodie, a nice pork pie hat, and a black moto jacket.
Want to turn heads at the office? This look is for you! Take off the tie and you’re good to go out with your coworkers to happy hour. This is a great style for a casual date as well. This outfit consists of brogue dress shoes, plaid pants (also in this season), a light blue oxford, and a brown leather jacket.
I have always preached that a nice vest and matching pants are perfect for any formal occasion. If you want to play around with it, you can change up the shirt or even skip the tie. This outfit includes a vest with matching pants, a blue tie, a white button-down collar shirt, and loafers.
There you have it: three outfits that will have you looking amazing for any occasion this season.
