fashion TREND ALERT: Anti-Streetwear
This trend is just for the guys. This season swap out your jeans for trousers and ditch the leather jacket for a well-fitted blazer. With the weather starting to warm up, this means we can shed the layers and focus on creating sleek suiting ensembles. Try mixing and matching trousers with suit jackets, or keep it all monochromatic. Either way it is vital you rock your suits with a classic pair of sneakers to create the anti-streetwear trend. Get creative with the look and try layering your suit over a v-neck tee, really emphasizing the laid-back vibes. Both Tom Ford and Louis Vuitton featured anti-streetwear down the runway, keeping the accessories minimal. Hugo Berlin and Kenzo created casual takes on suiting with tee shirts and crisp white sneakers. Whether the suiting is a solid neutral color or a vibrant pattern, both were seen at fashion week providing men with a plethora of inspiration.
